Goldbridge Rehabilitation Services held the Goldbridge Annual Christmas Pageant at the Southport Community Centre on the 16th December 2014. Attended by clients and their families, staff members and local business identities, it was a resounding success.
The night started at 6.00pm with a light dinner smorgasbord followed by a welcome to all friends and family by the Goldbridge CEO, Charlie Blatch. This was followed by the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation by local Gold Coast Councillor, Cr Dawn Crichlow to the many volunteers who have given invaluable assistance throughout the year.
The clients and staff then performed various theatrical performances with the obligatory Christmas Carol singing. Fun was had by young and old!
Goldbridge acknowledges and pay respects to the traditional Aboriginal people of the Gold Coast and their descendants. We also acknowledge the many Aboriginal people from other regions as well as Torres Strait and South Sea Islander people who now live in the local area and have made an important contribution to the community.
